NOTE:

A Mazda IDS subscription will also provide access to MDARS and MDARS II, cloud-based software, for 7th generation and newer vehicles.
MDARS and MDARS II can also be purchased for 72 hours, 30 days, or 1 year like PCM reflashing software because Mazda Module Programming (MMP) and Mazda Diagnostic software for Aftermarket (MDSFA) will not work on the vehicles listed above.
MDARS : After 100 days of non-use, your MDARS password will have to be reset. This will take at least one day to have Japan send a password reset email.

MDARS and MDARS II software can be used with the Denso DST-010B.

NOTE:

Mazda VCM hardware is purchased separately – refer to the “Mazda VCI Information” tab.
VCM-II is not compatible with MDARS II, it is only compatible with MDARS.

Minimum Hardware Requirements
Processor	Intel Core i5 Processor (8th gen. or later)
Memory (RAM)	8gb or larger
Storage	Free disk space 2.5gb or larger
Other Hardware	USB Type-A Port (For VCM-II Connection Internet connection, Wi-Fi, etc.)

Software Requirements
Operating Systems (OS)	Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
Browser	Google Chrome
Other Software	Any software that blocks installation/use of M-MDS software must be disabled or uninstalled (firewall, internet security software, etc.)

CAUTION:

Only supported on a PC with pre-installed Windows 11.
PCs that have been updated from Windows 8 (or older) to Windows 11 are not supported.
PCs with ARM chip architecture are not supported.

NOTE:

Any PC that does not meet the requirements are not supported.
PCs that have been in operation for more than 5 years are recommended to be replaced at appropriate times to ensure stable operation of the diagnostics.
